“Thanks..”

I wrote and directed these short comedy pieces for the Victorian Police. There had been a growing trend of peole accidently (or unwittingly) making it easier for thieves to steal their possessions. This is where the Thankful Thief was born.

It wasn’t about victim blaming, but about bringing to light the kinds of things people can do (or more to the point, stop doing) to make it harder for them to be a target. These got a mixed review online at the time they were released (and subsequently re-launced later), but were a success as they got people talking about the issue, and in the process, raised some awareness.
